Overview

Microsoft Entra ID handles sign-in and access; Defender protects devices, email, identities and cloud workloads; Sentinel is a cloud SIEM that collects and analyses security signals; Intune manages devices; and Purview classifies and protects sensitive data.

Many organisations already pay for much of this in Microsoft 365 E5 but use only part of it. Partners help switch it on properly, retire overlapping tools, and often run it as a managed security service.
